Raw Cacao Mousse

Try this delicious Raw Cacao Mousse made from avocados. Avocados are full of healthy fats and have a very mild favour which totally disappears in the mousse, so no one will guess that avocado is the main ingredient in this perfectly textured cacao mousse.

Ingredients

2 ripe avocados

1/3 cup raw organic cacao powder

1/2 cup organic coconut cream

1 tbsp organic coconut oil

1 tsp organic vanilla essence

1/2 tsp Himalayan sea salt

1/4 cup maple syrup, brown rice syrup or xylitol

Method

    1. Place all ingredients into a high speed blender for 30 seconds to combine.
    2. Spoon the mixture into small serving bowls and place in the fridge for 2-3 hours to set.
    3. Add fresh strawberries or make a raspberry coulis by blending raspberries with a tablespoon or brown rice syrup, xylitol or organic maple syrup.
